Something I'm really proud of since starting with HBE is how much I've improved in my studies. The tutoring has helped me achieve a high score in a subject I used to find really challenging. It gave me the extra support I needed and helped everything finally start to make sense. But more than just the academic help, the mentoring has been such a big part of my growth. It honestly feels like having an older sister guiding me through everything. She's shown me how to create realistic timetables, how to study in a way that works for each subject, and which strategies actually help me stay on track. She's always there with advice, whether it's for managing stress or preparing for a big assessment. One of the biggest things for me was my oral presentation. I used to get really nervous, but after getting support from my mentor, I felt so much more confident. She helped me with both the structure and how to deliver it, and it made a huge difference
